Underwater Museum In Ukraine
Russian divers, however, were the pioneers in this field. They set up Leaders’ Alley in the Black Sea 15 years before that. This museum was founded by Vladimir Borumenskiy in "1992".The underwater museum of sculptures is located near Bolshoi Atlas cape in 100 meters seaward at the depth of 12 mts. The first its exhibits were busts of communistic leaders Lenin,Kirov,Dzerzhinsky and others. They stay on the stones at the bottom of Black sea and form so called (Leaders alley).
They stay higher and look at revolution leaders from the up.Except communistic leaders you can find busts of Beethoven, Yesenin "Great Russian poet". Pushkin and others. As founder of the museum says they neutralize communistic ones.THE WORDS (UNDERWATER MUSEUM) will probably make most divers think of the underwater sculpture park that opened in 2006 off Grenada in the Caribbean.
